Law Review Symposium: The Uses (and Misuses) of History in Constitutional Interpretation

The symposium will explore how history is used in constitutional interpretation, often employed to support opposite conclusions regarding the same topics. The conference will respond to the themes of Professor Jack Balkin’s recent book, Memory and Authority: The Uses of History in Constitutional Interpretation.
