AIL Series II - Session 1: Advancing Inclusive Investments

1.0 ethics/DEI credits

In a discussion moderated by Senior Adjunct Professor of Law and Global Leadership Rangita de Silva de Alwis, Session I examines business responses to the social movements that took place during the pandemic. In particular, our conversation with Martin Muoto, CEO of the SoLa Impact Fund, demonstrates how businesses can create “opportunity zones” that address structural inequalities for women and minority groups. Ambassador Michael Lawson, President and CEO of the LA Urban League also joins in on this discussion explaining what it means to promote economic empowerment.
